On November 18, LaGazetta dello Sport and Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò celebrated the 100th Anniversary from the first Giro d\u2019Italia, Italy's worldwide famous cycling race. The screening of the documentary "La Curva della Orfanelle" was followed by a lecture by Aldo Grasso, full professor of History of Radio and Television at the Università Cattolica of Milan and columnist and television critic for Il Corriere della Sera. The Brooklyn Velodrome Vintage Wheelmen (John Pergolizzi - Omnipotent Despot) attended this presentation and subsequently sent a letter of thanks to the organizers. We were rewarded for this effort by receiving a response from Casa Italiana, inviting us to pick up all of the 32 exhibit boards used at the art gallery and lecture. It give us great pleasure to share this gift with our fellow CR List members. The boards are now available for viewing, as high resolution photographs, here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/44541835@N08/sets/72157623062689812 If you missed our last posting, the video screening link is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKFKButorUc Special thanks to Matthew Bowne, CR list and BVVW member, for getting us invited in the first place.
