[CR] Volatle organic compounds in paint

Does anyone have a guess what new regulations may mean for paints like Imiron in the future. My own feeling is that Imiron probably reduces carbon "footprint" when used because it is so durable that one can reduce the frequency of future repaints. Some of our best painters live in the great state of California.
