Subject: [CR] Vintage Bike Tires

Beautiful bike, Charles. Question - I see you installed Pirelli tires. Were they original for this vintage of Masi? I recently came across a vintage NOS set and wondered what they might be applicable to. I think original/vintage tires have not developed enough in our hobby yet. I've been messing with vintage cars for decades and that hobby is often very tuned into installing vintage tires on show vehicles. It'd be nice to see more emphasis put on that with bikes.

Of course, the car hobby has reproduced vintage tires. Think how popular it might be, or become, if Clement or an authorized company reproduced concours correct tires for our vintage bikes?! I know it always comes down to supply & demand, but it might work, especially starting out with Clement due to their overall popularity.

Has anyone ever explored this?
