Hi Dale, Interesting JRJ bike amongst these pics........brings back memorys.......remember brazing on the rather large cable rings to guide the brake cable........unusually it appears to have round fork blades, and the crown looks like a altered P17 [I think that's what they were called?] with fork tangs.....wonder if it's one I made?

The chrome seat tube panels where achieved by actually having the seat tubes chromed before they were brazed in to a frame, being wrapped in a damp rag during brazing!

The lining detail on the stay tops suggests it was a Ken Askwith paint job, he was the master painter when I started in 71 and was Danny Fosters [master framebuilder] brother in law.

I like to see these 'old' Bob Jackson's...jRj's and Merlin's..[how on earth did another company end up using the name Merlin!?] it certainly stirs up fond memorys.......of when I had hair...lots of it!
