Subject: [CR] Stronglight 99 cranks and 20 chainrings FOR SALE

My general clean-up continues and I would like to sell the following 86 BCD cranks and chainrings as a lot for $125 :

One - Stronglight \u201c99" crankset 170mm arms and 32-44-48 chainrings

One - SR Custom (Stronglight 99 copy) 170 arms and 28-42-50 chainrings

This deal also includes the following twenty (!) 86 BCD chainrings for the aforementioned cranksets :

Unless noted all chainrings are NOS. Most are SR, but there are some Stronglight in there also.

32 x2 (one is mounted on the Stronglight crank) 34 x2 36 x5

40 x1 42 x1 (slightly used) 44 x1

47 x2 (slightly used Stronglight) 48 x2 50 x1 52 x3 (2 nos Stronglight, one slightly used SR)

Altogether there are 16 NOS chainrings and 4 slightly used ones, along with the two cranksets.

I am looking to get $125 for everything. Add $18 for USPS shipping CONUS only.

The cranks both take a 22.2mm standard crank extractor and English pedal threads. The cranks are used but in good shape - all the threads and tapers are excellent. They need a cleaning and a little polish. I believe the cranks take around a 118-125 bb length, depending on your frame. Also - these cranks can easily be set up to be used as a very low-Q wide-range double, or triple.

Lotsa possibilities

And finally - contrary to popular belief, there still are Stronglight replacement chainrings available ranging from 28 - 54. They are sold by a company named XX Cycles in France -

Note that the picture is wrong on the inner chainrings, but the description is correct for a 5 arm 86 bcd.

Thanks and Happy New Year ! Stay Warm and Enjoy a low-traffic New Year's Day Ride !
