I'm trying to identify the red frame on that blog - It's been a tough road...anyway - I'm building it up with period parts and had been looking for Magistroni cranks, bb, headset, and then some other stuff...however, if someone here happens to buy that frame, since i have the original parts, feel free to get in touch if you will be restoring it and we can arrange to re-marry the original parts if you like..
I am still looking for a Magistroni Headset, but would prefer the racer version that was recently seen on the Cilo that sold on ebay the other day. So if anyone knows where i might find one, please let me know.
Also - Still trying to identify the mystery bike. About all I know so far is that it is probably 1958-1962, Italian, had a magistroni Senior BB originally, does not have the Columbus rifling in the head tube, should have bar end shifters, and she has given me so much trouble thus far, that I think I'll be naming her, "Christine"...
