I know that TA had some quality control problems with some batches of the new versions of their classic pedals. I've heard a number of people describe various problems, one of which is just what's being described in these recent posts. Just so happens, I was going to pick up some of these pedals later this week. I'll make sure that I check them first, and see if I have similar problems.
