Wish I cold open these pictures at work!
Andy is a great guy. I had the opportunity to ride with him on numerous occasions when I lived in the Boston area as he?lived and worked within a mile of where I did.?We had many rider connections so the rides were often exchanging stories, and he had plenty from his racing in the US and Europe.??For those who don't know he was also a bronze medalist at the 1984 Olympics in the?100K Road Team?Time Trial. I was living in LA at time and a friend and?I were able to go to the staging area (much easier in pre 9-11 days) and had a great view of course so many good pictures of US, including him, ?and other teams.? (Other road races and Track racing?were great too)
