Clyde & List:
I'm looking forward to this event. Hopefully after the success of this e vent we can get a regular ride organized in the area. I have been wanting to do start a monthly ride based out of North Dallas / Plano or so. Riding vintage bikes are much more enjoyable when out on the rural country roads outside of town (at least in my own opinion - but this Fair Park / WRL ride should be a great one as well!), so my focus has been on finding a suita ble starting location out in the direction of Plano / Allen area. Doesn't hurt that I just moved to Allen and am within riding distance of a couple n ice Allen city parks which could be used, in addition to local food and d rink options for post-ride refreshment. But we'll have plenty of time to d iscuss this at & after the Roundup.
I plan to bring my 78 Gazelle Champion Mondial A-Frame which some of you probably saw at the Vintage Bike Picnic that Southwest Frameworks put on la st fall and is currently built with mostly on-topic parts, additionally I may bring my other Gazelle or my 86 Serotta which have been "updated" (but not necessarily "upgraded") to more modern groups.
