Too much! And I don't mean too many holes, per se, but this crankset is ruined because so many of the holes are imperfectly located. If someone is going to drill holes, he's better be a good craftsman or do it on a CNC mill. Just one hole out of position by a few thou is enough to ruin the part and make it worthless. That crankset looks like it was done by an amateur. And as someone already mentioned, why was the inner ring not drilled?
