>From time to time on the Classic Rendevous site I have seen references to Kroil for loosening stuck seat posts and other parts. But the references don't say where to get it.

Kroil, and its spray can version, AeroKroil are products of Kano Labotatories, http://www.kanolabs.com 1000 E. Thompson Lane, P.O. Box 11098, Nashville, Tennessee 37222-0098, 1-800-311-3374, sales@kanolabs.com..

As near as I can tell, Kano only sells it products via mail order and internet sales. I have used Kroil and found it to be a very good product, but I usually go to my local hardware store for some off the shelf penetrating oil. They have a number of other products which could prove useful such as Lubricone, a silicone spray which I use on snow shovels, but would be great for protecting bikes when you ride in muddy or icy conditions. Think cyclocross.
