By way of explanation: What got me to wondering about dating is that from the mere several calipers I've seen, each has different stampings on the backsides: blank backsides, circled stampings, diamond stampings - these are reminiscent of the crank date codes. These backside stampings are above and beyond the obvious variations, including absence of the "Brev" stamping on the spring cradle. Thanks. Keep those cards and letters coming in.

Does anyone know how to date Campag Super Record Brake Calipers ?
I've noticed slight variations among markings but, since I do not have a
known matched set, I don't know what significance these slight variations
may have.
