I had a Bob Jackson with Sugino Mighty touring cranks: 48/34, 14- 26 freewheel, suntour derailleurs VGT in the rear, and suntour bar-cons. Worked very well.
Currently I have a Jack Taylor with a nuovo record triple: cyclo cross chain guard on the outside with 47/36, 13-23 freewheel, campy barcons, and nuovo record derailleurs. Works well. The suntour barcons and VGT derailleur make the difference.
