Subject: [CR] 1972 Frejus (Legnano cross-over)

I have just come into possession of a 1972 Frejus, a (slightly smaller) twin to the one on the CR site that appears to be some sort of joint bike w/Legnano. The paint is in better shaper than I first thought, but some of the secondary (non-Frejus) decals are peeling and/or faded. The Reynolds decal, of course, and a Campy decal, the Made in Italy decal, plus the Nisi rim decals.

Components are anywhere from just a little dirty to downright rusty. This bike is to be the first entry into my permanent collection, not for sale, but I'd still like it to look right. I was going to remove and polish all of the components (derust as necessary), then clean & polish/wax the frame (meguires). What is the collective consensus of replacing the worn and peeling non-Frejus decals? Yea or Nay?
