Hi, I bought a lightweight racing frame of about 1950 about 2 months ago and have been trying to find out about the builder(s)
I know it's Major Bros (Frank and Arthur) of Thornton Heath (London) but can't find anything on them and I've been looking. Tried Thornton Road cycling club and... nothing. Please help me, I'm trying to restore the frame and really want to know what the original head badge looked like etc. I don't want an evaluation as I don't want to sell the bike. I want to ride it looking like it did back then.
Any leads gratefully received.
