Subject: [CR] Ebay outing mine

Good afternoon:

Hope everyone is having a good summer and enjoyed watching the Tour.

I am pretty new to posting but I have managed to make to Greensboro (twice until the event moved) and to the inaugural event in Leesburg. I helped raise $10,000 for operation Smile through mine involvement with Bank of America.

I have accumulated a few too many bicycles lately and need to make room in the shed. Also if I don't sell these I will need to move in the doghouse. Anyhoo here we go:

Bruce Gordon Touring Bicycle -Vintage Campy 51cm center to center seat tube ---I belive this bicycle is a 1982 ---$1000.00. Excellent steel frame with lugs. Bought this for my daughter but she is not really too keen on road bikes. Not yet at least!!!! She is growing so quickly that she will outgrow it soon.

Bought from a on-line company from the Wisconsin area. The bicycle was in storage for quite a while and it was listed as a Aluminum bicycle a few months ago. It was actually a steel Columbus frame. The Brooks Saddle is a bit worn and the bicycle is need of tune up. Other than it would make a nice touring ride. The bike has some cosmetic scratches but nothing in way of structural rust issues. All the parts are Campagnolo. Perhaps someone could enlighten me on the precise year.

======================================================================================= McReynolds (Diablo Cycles) steel frame 55 cm ---Campagnolo cranks, wheel hubs brakes and brake levers, and shifters. I purchased this from Lou Deeter.

Now that I ride a 2008 Seven Axiom steel bicycle, which caused a great of deal of conflict in my house, I need to clear out this bicycle. Lou sold it to me about a year ago. Its been gently ridden. The braze cable guide holding the front derailleur cable broke off due to a standing rust issue. Other than that the bike has many miles left of life in it. I painted over the spot to ensure to exposure to the elements. The batch is not too good but at least I covered up the bare steel left exposed.

I could use some pointers on how to find a better match for the color. If anyone has suggestions please post.

Please ping me off-line at drewski_30312@yahoo.com if you are interested in adding one of these rides to your stable.

Thanks,
Andrew
