Oh yes! Read back on this subject. Hard drive failed catastrophically. Data recovery complete, but files are like scrambled eggs post-failure. They did the best they could. I've got the 135gb of recovered data uploaded onto the new hd w/ new OS. Now I get to unscramble the pieces in my spare time. Imagine a 2000-piece puzzle of, say a Swiss village. I'm on vacation next week and will work on it. ETA maybe 2 weeks.
