Can anyone confirm that water bottle bosses first showed up on Colnago Supers in 1972? I have found many pics of '72 and later bikes with them...But only have photos of one 1971 (Bob Freeman's from the CR site), which does not have them. Trying to decide if I should remove/fill the bosses or not on my '71 restoration project. Just spent the day carefully filing off the braze-ons that were added at a later date. 1971 here I come!
