.... good luck. many , many years ago went to a newly opened norstrom's back here (might have their first expansion in the wash, dc arena). in the men's dept there were at least 10 very old time bikes used as accessory displays. one of which was a very well taken care of tandem, where the captain was in and sterred from the back, and the presumably female passenger is in front. found a manager to ask about what happens to these and was politely but firmly informed that they didn't sell/part with any of their store displays. they either rotate between locations, or go back in storage. anyway that tandem was in such nice condition, since then i've wondered if maybe they weren't borrowed from a collection or museum.
