Subject: [CR] For Sale: Frejus TDF and Olmo Special addendum

Thanks to all for the interest. It's going to be difficult letting these bikes go but I'd rather see them go to list members. Keep them in the family, as it were.

I screwed up when listing the frame dimensions. To clarify:

Frejus TdF - 55 c-c top tube, 55 c-c seat tube, 9 cm stem.

Olmo Special - 57 c-c top tube, 54 c-c seat tube, 7 cm stem.

I'm 5'9" and both these bikes fit me fine and ride as nice as 40 year old technology can ride.

Well boys and girls, sadly I must part with some bicycle that I swore to keep forever. Life changes dictate that I get rid o'stuff. This is the first batch. More to come.

For sale:

1) Early 60's Frejus Tour day France. 57 c-c top tube and 54 c-c seat tube. Purchased from an esteemed list member years ago, was in sad original condition when I received it. I stripped it down to bare frame and spend close to 40 hours refurbishing it. Machined some new parts; can't tell the difference from the originals. Two sets of wheels; one clincher for go, one set of tubulars- the originals- for show. The bonus cool parts are Frejus embossed front and rear fenders. I gave the LOVE to this bike during the refurb. It gleams!! It is beautiful and ready to ride. $800/reasonable offer.

2) Early 60's Olmo Special. Completely original. I have added NOS hoods and adjuster hoods. Another bike I stripped down to bare frame and cleaned until it sparkled and shone and then put it back together. $600/reasonable offer.

Folks, I took brass, stainless, and toothbrushes to these bike to eliminate rust and dirt. Mojo galore. Many photos available. Please e-mail and I will send.
