Galmozzi's hold a special charm to me beyond the obvious craftmanship and the "cock of the walk" headbadge. I think it's the fact that the earliest Galmozzi's I saw were under the butts of some of the Chicago racers who dominated midwest criterium racing in the early to mid 70's.? ?

That brought to mind this question, was Chicago the base for a Galmozzi importer? Any input on who was bringing these understated masterpieces into the U.S?? ?
