Yes, that's the plan. I got the drive containing the recovered data. The recovered data is about 135GB. A bike-riding friend who works at a local ISP in Berkeley is letting me use his "pipe" to upload the files to the existing server I've been using (with a new hard disk) tonight, after work. Once the files are uploaded, I'll still have to piece together the original configuration. Wooljersey was running the "Gallery" software, which is database-driven. One of the things I was sad to see is that the database files did not survive the disk failure cleanly. I do have some old database backups on the disk itself (January 2009) but the MySQL files do look like they might have made it, just with a loss of directory information and filenames. (i.e. I've got a folder on the drive, "/Misc_Recovered_Files/MySQL/1.mdf, 2.mdf, 3.mdf", etc.) So yeah, current plan is to have wooljersey back up in a week or two. Will be on a family vacation in Lake Tahoe 8/2-8/8, but will bring my laptop along and work on it when I'm bored. :)
