The details of the bike are neat to study... Front wheel w/tied & soldered cross spokes, two bolt aero Campy seat post, poorly mounted & lumpy tires, highly polished and modiied components.. Looks like alloy hub QR caps and QR totally removed from brake calipers! Fun to notice Cyrille Guimard in the background.

This says 1979 I think? A few years later a similar (?) bike was stolen just prior of the opening of the NY International Bike Show I am trying to remember which year that was, it was when the show moved to the then brand new Jacob Javits Center. That may have been the last year for the NY Show.. Maybe 1984?
