Unbelievable what the peanut gallery has to say. Glad I could chime in with a "me too" to Ted and Matt's posts. I'll step up and say it, that red Colnago was very well-bought, the holiday season (more than any "economic downturn") kept it low, IMO. Dale, please don't bump me for saying "me too"?

It's the buyer's money not yours. Better than our hero Tiger, or two hero basketballers pointing guns at each other. What's next, are going to malign, Hammer, Getty, Hearst, etc., because they collected and now have museums for people to view the their) treasures? Everybady likes to be a fleamarket scrounger and find a hidden goody. Be happy that it's value is enhanced because the market went up a notch. Jewels, paintings, stamps, coins, guns, motorcycles, whatever is your pleasure and you want to bid and win, hey, you're 3 x 7 and old enuf to know your checkbook. So bug off you guys, be happy the bar is raised, makes all our items a tad better and raises the perception of quality for all of us. Send the buyer a well done, wish I had it, or anything but cheap shots. Remember who you are and where you come from. Keep your dignity so you keep our respect.
