The 122 BCD crank is a model 104, the 86 BCD is a model 99 as you suspected. Model 99 was often configured as a triple. It used long chainring bolts that ran through all three rings. Sungino made some almost identical triple bolts that may be easier to find than Stronglight. Of course you will probably need a longer BB axle as well.

\r?\n> Two Left Arms

\r?\n>

\r?\n> It is easier for me to understand where the mates to my sox

\r?\n> go than to

\r?\n> understand where the left crank arms go.

\r?\n> I can see the load runs (in reverse) from the chain to the

\r?\n> chainring, then for

\r?\n> the right arm directly up the arm to the pedal and for the

\r?\n> left side it goes

\r?\n> through the bottom bracket to the arm and them pedal.

\r?\n>

\r?\n> Regardless of how it happens, I have purchased two nice

\r?\n> looking 170 Stronglight

\r?\n> - Peugeot right cranks - one looks like a 93 and the other

\r?\n> a 99;

\r?\n> 1)      Can anyone confirm these are a 93

\r?\n> and 99 (or 49, or?)?

\r?\n> 2)      Does anyone have a left arm they can

\r?\n> part with that will match these - I

\r?\n> would prefer the Peugeot labeling, but would accept any

\r?\n> similar arms.

\r?\n> 3)      Can the 99 be converted to a triple

\r?\n> relatively easily - if so, how?

\r?\n>

\r?\n> Two Right Forks

\r?\n>

\r?\n> For vintage steel bikes, it also seems odd to me how many

\r?\n> frames are sold

\r?\n> without their forks.

\r?\n> Certainly things happen and forks can get trashed, but it

\r?\n> seems

\r?\n> disproportionately high.

\r?\n> Regardless how it happens, I have two frames in need of

\r?\n> 700c forks.

\r?\n> If you have an appropriate fork for either of these frames

\r?\n> you are willing to

\r?\n> sell, please contact me.

\r?\n> If you have any guidance about what to look for in a fork

\r?\n> for these two frames,

\r?\n> please let me know.
