Well, the Gian Robert theory is out because you cant dismantle the 2 types I have. So I am looking at adapting a Benelux Super 60 to fit a Campagnolo gear hanger. It can and will be done. I have a front Benelux mech that is cable operated from the left side so that will fit. BUT I need a LEFT HAND Benelux gear control backplate. I would buy a complete lever or a double lever, clamp on type. I have decided to build it with as much British kit as possible. Not that easy in the late 1960's. So a Williams splined bracket and chainset, GB bars and stem, GB '66' centre pull brakes. Cyclo pump pegs and top tube clips. Wheels will be Airlite small flange with Q/rs on Dunlop Special Lightweight rims. Brooks Pro saddle of course. I dont think any British manufacturer was making exotic seatposts then - any body know of any?
