I was telling Tim that I thought that the old Suicide Front shifter/deraileur was the hot ticket to me going broke on yet another bike that I really neither have room for or body parts left to trade.....I don't want to cause anyone any problems, but Tim is so much on the right track here...this is one sweetheart judging by the fine photos that he provided us....this bike has got a lot of pride of ownership in it....I never mixtsake those (its in the blod for 42 years)....too bad about the original rear gear changer...I am willing to bet that it was similar to the Campagnolo serated horizontal dropouts long armed chrome steel gear changer that Coppi rode in the '47 or '48 Tour de France. If that was still on this bike there would be a stampede to Tim's house seeing as though a '47 Bianchi with this set up was recently posted to Ebay for over $14,000 if my lousy memory is serving me.....seeyall
