I've got nothing else to do, so I'll blab about this swap meet.

I have been going to this event for probably the last 12 years... It is the largest event of its kind (in the US) that I know of next to VeloSwap in Denver. Denver is a 17 hour drive for me and MadTown is only 4.5 hours.

Only a handful of CR members go to this event... I don't know why more of youse guys don't show-up. Regulars include Keith Hellon, David Cooper, Richard Cielic, David Beck, Peter Naiman, Peter Jourdain, Jeff Pryczyk, Earle Young, Chris Kvale (once in a while)... hmm, let's see, who else? The dudes who show up are great, but man, oh man... swap meets are where you find the stuf! The airport should be jammed with CR folks arriving for the event.

So, if you're within 400 miles, I expect to see you there. I look forward to shucking and jiving with the above, (J. Abt too!), and doing deals! I am a BUYER this year. I'll be bringing my Dollars, Yen and Euros... and my checkbook (payable in USD).

I bought some of those #204 O-rings, so if you come to my tables (124 + 125) and tell me you are a CR guy, you'll get one free! Add'l at USD1.

The items that I will bring to sell include a bunch of old cycling books and calendars (cut 'em up and frame those pics) as well as some inexpensive NOS #5 hairnets, and some misc other stuf.

Oh, if I remember, I have a big batch of great old decals...
