bikelist.org only displays RAW text; it does not and currently cannot automatically make URLs click-able. Even if you entered the correct HTML tags, I don't think Alex wants to implement a mail parser in the display routines. I use the following magic for fast URL opening - NEVER CUT AND PASTE, EVER AGAIN !!

A. Install the Firefox extension, "WebmailCompose". I am using version 0.6.5 :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/206

B. Select some text and right-click on it with firefox. WebmailCompose will not appear as an option if you DO NOT select any HTML text. Once the WebmailCompose menu appears, make this choice :

WebmailCompose > Settings

C. Select the WebmailServices tab and enter this information. I'm assuming you DONT use Hotmail or Netscape mail.

Enable YahooMail : http://compose.mail.yahoo.com/?To=^T Enable HotMail: ^T Enable Netscape : http://ebay.com/<blah>

D. Now close and save the settings.

E. Now on bikelist.org (or on any web page):

a. Select any auction number, click "Open in Netscape" b. Select an URL WITHOUT & arguments, click "Open in Hotmail"

In both cases, the URL will open properly. Whatever text you selected, WebmailCompose generates an URL, and opens a new window using the new URL, generated from your selection. With some imagination, you can create more shortcuts google searches, wiktionary lookups, or other web queries using a piece of selected text.

Enjoy !!!
