Somebody in CR-land must want to give this a home: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/doc/bik/1574376284.html

1970s 57cm Viscount Aerospace Pro with Death Fork - $299 (VA)

1975ish Viscount Aerospace Pro - 57cm aerospace tubing frame made in England, all original, Viscount components with first generation Duraace rear deraileur, high flange quick release hubs, alloy rims, includes original cast aluminum DEATH fork ( not on the bike), the death fork was recalled and replaced with a chrome fork, beautiful bike. asking price or best offer, interesting trades considered..

Of course, it suffered a Viscount RD-ecotomy (as they all did). I wonder if there are more than two of the original Viscount sheetmetal RDs in captivity any longer. As I recall, it looked like a cross between the design of an early Suntour, with the construction ruggedness of a Huret Svelto.

I am not offering to inspect, negotiate, or pack this bike, and have no idea why it is for sale or by whom.
