Has anyone read Roule Britannia by William Fotheringham, a book about British Tour de France riders? I've seen a copy at a local book sellers and wondered if it was worth picking up.
As to the question of burying decals under clear, my repainted Pogliaghi Pista has its decals buried under a clear coat. While there is no question as to the clear coat protecting the decals somehow it just doesn't look quite as nice as original decals/paint without (I'm guessing) clearcoating. I think this is in part due to the fact that the decals are fairly thick and require a thick layer(s) of cleat to achieve a smooth appearance.
