Thanks everyone for the input. So if anyone has early Fiamme (70-73) 36 hole rims, I would appreciate a contact. Thanks. Jerry Tenenberg Encinitas, Cal.

My 1973 Cinelli Speciale Corsa has all original components except the bottom bracket and has the following wheelset

Hubs; Campagnolo small-flange/low-flange (thus neatly avoiding another round in THAT debate!) hubs, 36-hole Rims: Fiamme red label (old style) sew-up rims Spokes: double-butted 15/17 and tied and soldered in the rear

This machine came, I am told, from a San Jose, CA cycleshop and the tied and soldered rear wheel spokes apparently were a hallmark of this shop.

But from what I've seen, the Campagnolo/Fiamme combination was pretty standard.
