Can anyone provide any info on early Viner frames? I have two, one that I've owned for years and another from Ebay. Both are extremely well made, star cutouts in long to medium point lugs with fluted seatstay ends rather than "Viner" near the seatlug. I know one is from the '70's or earlier , with "Special Professional" decal on the non-drive side chainstay. I'm just curious about the builder. I know they were built,or sold from, Pistoia, Italy, but I have found very little else. I do believe that Gus Betat in New Orleans was one importer. Thanks for any help.
