Subject: [CR] WTB TA spindle #344 .... previously..Ode to Bottom Brackets.....

So I took Chuck H (from Pacific Coast Cycles') advice, and rode on down to his shop in Oceanside today. I got some NOS cups to fit the french threaded Mondia Special frame, but no luck on the crank spindle. This is for a double TA setup - with a 28/48 gearing.

From Mark B's TA documentation, the model axle I need is called 344. Length I'm told is in the 118 area.

The TA version is shown here: http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/TA/BB_axle%27n%27cups.jpg

It is also possible the stronglight models could be interchangeable (??) Did they use the same numbering .. having a model also called 344 ?

If anyone has one of these they could part with, I'd love to hear from you !
