I'm pretty sure that any pre cassette axle set from Campy will fit any Campy hub made. In fact, the axle set and its level of sophistication is one of the big differences in the different levels of hubs. So if the Nuovo Record axle set is available, it would be a fitting upgrade to a Gran Sport hub. They were very good hubs, though, in their own rite.
