Sorry, I hit "send" too soon.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 605 is a longer brake than the 500, right? So all other things (pads, caliper geometry and rigidity, cables, levers, and rims) being equal, the 500 should have better stopping power and a softer feel than the 605?
