Mid-range export bikes intended for the American market were often equipped with 27" clinchers in the 60s and 70s. What sizes were used in Italy, Germany, Holland, Denmark, etc on mid-range bikes during that period, that is the bikes that didn't have tubular tires? The scanned catalog collections I know are almost all catalogs of export [to USA] bikes, not those sold on the Continent.
