I'm building up my first ever PX-10, which did not come with its original wheels. I have three roughly appropriate rear wheels with Normandy Luxe HF hubs. Two of the hubs have gold foil labels, and one has a red foil label. Any chance that the red is supposed to indicate French threading or is it just a running change in color?
One of my hubs has an AFA rim w/o ferrules, and the other a SuperChampion rim. What I don't remember is what rims actually came with the early 70s PX-10 (the traditional white with black Nervex Pro lugs). Mavic Montlhery? Campionat du Monde?
