Dear Listers

Johan says the standard of topics, level of discussion, etc has deteriorated !! Utter nonsense I say....2 minutes Googling?? Pah! I love to read other peoples questions, even simple ones, and the flurry of answers that arrive in my mailbox, isn't that what this list is all about?? Off-Topic hardly ever appears and if it does it is only a few years out! As for the Ebay stuff.....keep it coming I say!! I get all excited when I go to a link that someone else has deemed interesting enough to mention to the rest of us. Sorry Johan but the list is as good now as it has always been, and a big thanks to Dale for running it.

Fellow Listers As a third time newcomer, I was on the list in the 90-ies and then again in 02-03 and now for a third time, here on the list I have made some observations. These observations are not going to make me popular but I take my chances as I am very far away... I am sorry to say that the standard of topics, level of discussion, etc has deteriorated. Compared to my earlier times on the list things have changed, and not to the better. In my opinion there are too many questions asked that two minutes of googling would answer or that has nothing to do with bikes. OT is not uncommon.
