I've seen only a few actual copper-plated (as distinct from the Williers copper-colored cromovelato jobs) frames: The Freewheel on Valencia in SF had a couple for sale, reputed to have been built by Mondonico, IIRC. Couldn't hurt to call them and enquire. Way back in earlier times there were some Libertas that were Cu-plated, might have had Nervex pro lugs, too. Personally, I like the verdigris that unlacquered copper (and brass, bronze) develops, but to each his own. Alan Goldsworthy San Francisco, CA, USA
