I'm trying to make a temporary restoration of my 78 Comp GS -- Thanks to all of the rust removal ideas here lately, I plan to get rid of the rust, feather out any deep chips, etc., and then apply a few layers of rattle can paint over the existing coat. I'd like to add decals, also, and the existing ones are in rough shape.

Question: Has anyone tried the do-it-yourself decal materials, such as available from this manufacturer--

i was surprised to see they offer a white decal - which as we all know is a must at home, since printing in white is a challenge even for professional printers.
