Subject: [CR] SEEKING: Gold Philippe/ATAX stem; 100-105mm

( I posted this about a month ago, but I only now realized that the stem is better known as a Philippe stem, not ATAX, as I had initially put in the subject header):

Hello fellows,

The stem on my 1978/9 Peugeot PY-10 cracked not more then four days after owning it. To say that I'm upset wouldn't begin to describe things, but I'm glad that it didn't happen while riding:

And - just for kicks - a photo of the PY-10: http://www.jaysmarine.com/peugeot_PY10_10.jpg. You might note that the FD is a replacement Suntour, not a gold SLJ - the SLJ had cracked prior to my owning it. (What's worse, two days ago, the Simplex/Spidel seatpost cracked one of its rails - I'm not having much luck with this thing, even though I've been gentle when tightening things down).

That said, I'm looking for a replacement Philippe stem that is pretty much the same as the one in the photo. 22.0 quill, 25 clamp, 100-105mm long; and most importantly - gold anodized. Whether it is badged Philippe or Peugeot is not important.

Thanks for your help.

All the best,
