Subject: [CR] 1983/4 Peugeot Team Bike equipment?

I have a high-end Peugeot frame from 1983/4 that I want to build up with the same equipment as the team bikes, but I am having difficulty establishing what components the team used. Pictures of races in those years seem to indicate that the team used both steel (ok) and carbon (not ok) bikes, but I cannot find any good pictures showing components, other than a few pictures showing fuzzy brakes which look like Campagnolo Record.  I find that surprising in view of the fact that up til then Peugeot certainly used the usual French components and most of the high-end bikes in the catalogs those years have French components, although they do show one high-end model with Campagnolo Nuovo Record bits.  I believe that Peugeot did ultimately go to Campagnolo, but does anybody know for sure what they used in 1983/4?  1984 is the year that Robert Millar on a Peugeot won the KoM and finished 4th, which is the best by a Brit, unequalled until last year, but I think he used a carbon frame (going up the mountains at least) so perhaps I shouldn't mention it.  I have seen group photos of the team for that year where all the bikes appear to be steel.
