Hello Charles,

Do you have any information about the frame (e.g., where originally purchased, etc) and what is the frameset serial number?

For sale today from Chez Charles et Carmen this sweet Mondia Special frame and fork. You won't find a nicer one:

56cm c-t; 56.5cm c-c top-tube

early/mid 1970s. What you see is what you get: nice, correct record steel headset in very good condition; correct swiss fixed cup installed! French adjustable cup with lock-ring, spindle and bearings available at an extra charge if you need them. seatpost binder bolt as shown; dropout adjusters in excellent condition.

Chrome is virtually perfect on this frame, the sole flaws are a bit of wear and cracking of the graphics (quite mild), and a bit of surface corrosion on the undersides of the top-tube and down tube. Easily cleaned up, nothing serious. Paint is otherwise very good, I'd call it 8 out of 10..just about all the pinstriping is intact, except for a bit of wear here and there.

Sweet frame, one of the nicest-riding bikes out of the 70s, ready for your Campagnolo parts group. This would also make a nice all-purpose fixed-gear bike, what with the lack of braze-ons (except for the rear-brake cable stops..might as well put a rear brake on it!)

I haven't checked the seatpost but these were usually 26.6.

Feel free to e-mail any questions you may have.
