Robert Broderick has a full range of Falcon catalogues scanned and available to CR Listers with a password but I've lost the link.

Falcon San Remos are a real minefield. Everything they made was "Designed by Ernie Clements" and 1/3rd of that seemed to be called a "San Remo" so there were variants within variants. And seemingly countless decal variants. So even with the catalogues, there is invariably headscratching over some of the details and dates.

The model with the dark red headtube was just below the Equipe and the only difference I think was that this had Weinmann 999 brakes rather than Campagnolo and mudguard eyelets. The last Falcon I saw on eBay not long ago was this model and thanks to jawdroppingly poor photos, it sold for a paltry sum.

Falcon serial nos. are also as meaningless in dating machines as Cinelli's apparently. I guessimated my Equipe (bought as a frameset) as being a '72 due to the earlier Reynolds 531 decal and not having the Cinelli style fork crown.
