Hi all. I'm English, retired and have a few bicycles. Was recommended to check out CR and happy to see what I find. Current vintage lightweight machines include a 1948 Holdsworth La Quelda, a 1949 Ernie Clements Wrekin, with Lauterwasser 5 speed conversion, a 1944 Bates Vegrandis, plus a mystery lightweight of unusual quality from late 30s/40s, and several interesting 3 speed roadsters from early 20s through to mid 50s. (Raleigh, Royal Enfield, New Hudson etc.)
Am particularly interested in the latest exchanges re Ernie Clements but profess no real, hard knowledge of his later machines! Or at least machines with his name attached. Also have an accumulation of early 1900s Cycling magazines, some of which are shown on my Flickr pages. Will provide links to my bicycles etc. when I learn the etiquette on here.
