Dear John, Welcome, I have been conducting a sarvey on uknkown bikes and to save these oftem , beautiful mounts tp go uknown , have dedicated them as FKWs / I have 3 of these, suitably labled ,including a year old carbon framed road bike supplied by\P.edal force, who are supplied frames made for many suppliers by an annonymous Chinese frame maker. It now has a a suitable name and at its demise will not go to the grave of unknown frames. So your and many other frames deserve this Identity accordingly. Decals are now available and look great! Tee shirts to follow. Welcome to the list. Barrie Carter, Fellow Brit and proud of it, Roundham, UK

Hi all. I'm English, retired and have a few bicycles. Was recommended to check out CR and happy to see what I find. Current vintage lightweight machines include a 1948 Holdsworth La Quelda, a 1949 Ernie Clements Wrekin, with Lauterwasser 5 speed conversion, a 1944 Bates Vegrandis, plus a mystery lightweight of unusual quality from late 30s/40s, and several interesting 3 speed roadsters from early 20s through to mid 50s. (Raleigh, Royal Enfield, New Hudson etc.)

Am particularly interested in the latest exchanges re Ernie Clements but profess no real, hard knowledge of his later machines! Or at least machines with his name attached. Also have an accumulation of early 1900s Cycling magazines, some of which are shown on my Flickr pages. Will provide links to my bicycles etc. when I learn the etiquette on here.

Regards,
John Roberts.
