As Terence Shaw recently posted, Phil Wood, the amazing inventor of Phil Wood hubs, bottom brackets, and much more, died from cancer last week.

He was an amazing innovator, and will be long remembered and appreciated by many of us. (I am still using the original Phil Wood gear I bought for a long-gone bike in 1975. The hubs and bottom bracket are as smooth as ever.)
There will be a memorial service for him at 11 AM on Saturday, April 17, at Calvary Baptist Church in Los Gatos, CA.
Perhaps some of us could ride down and/or attend the service?
