1) the busted seat lug is a deal-breaker, the crack extends from keyhole down to the edge of the lug. Nothing about this bike is unique enough to overlook that.

2) There's no slump in the market for polite and knowledgeable sellers with top notch stuff,

3) The knowledgeable market is below the radar, more than ever before. Wonder why that is?

4) Certainly many knowledgable that have remained on CR have become more "off-list" in their correspondence and sharing. Wonder why THAT is?? -sigh-

No big surprise, but my Cinelli Pista I posted in a flurry went unsold this weekend. Auction here - http://ebay.com/<blah> Sure my listing wasn't very well executed and at that price people don't like to dig for details, but I'm still not willing to admit that the value of such a bike is much less than what I thought to list it for. Challenge me on that and I'll part it out just to make a point! : ) I wasn't silly enough to hope for a multiple bid scenario, but I thought if one person had been looking for a 50's Cinelli pista then there was a chance a last minute bid at the starting price would have come in. I've grown to appreciate some of the other listers I have come across who seem to hold their bikes at a value higher than the market does at this time, and I aspire to be one of them. I'm not pressed to sell it anymore, but I'd entertain trade offers from anyone interested. Nathan CozzolinoSan Francisco, California
