Subject: [CR] FW: Stuff FOR SALE #2

Group -- I have skimmed some more off of the pile and thought I'd offer it to the list before going to eBay.... Prices do NOT include postage, which will be charged at actual cost. I can take and send jpegs if you wish. If you do not like something when it is received, you are welcome to return it... Thanks for looking.

SADDLE. GRAND-PRIX This looks like a black plastic Unicanitor, only has the name cast into the side. I was told this was the predecessor of the Unicanitor, but I really do not know what it is.. No country of origin cast into it. Rails look like grey oxidized aluminum, but I suspect that they are steel. Includes existing seat post clamp. $20

SADDLE BROOKS B-15 CHAMPION STANDARD This is a lovely brown saddle in excellent used condition.. It comes very close to passing for new. Chrome rails -- no date There are faint signs of the start of "cheek bone" depressions in the top, but you have to look very hard to see them. Small brass rivets. BROOKS logo on the name badge is a bit faint, but readable. $90

SADDLE BROOKS B-17 CHAMPION STANDARD. This saddle is even better than the one above... it has been mounted -- marks on the black painted rails, but the top could pass for new with a few little shop wear marks. Badge is the same type -- clean and crisp lettering. $90

SADDLE SPRINT -- EARLY SCHWINN LEATHER SADDLE. This saddle, I believe (please correct me, Schwinn-o-philes) came on some of the early 60's bikes. The side stamp says "Sprint" and has the Schwinn star embossed below that. The rear nameplate says "Sprint"with "made in france" in small letters.. Probably made by Ideale. Brown leather, in good condition. Some fairly heavy cracking in the leather on the rear portion of the right flap, and lighter, smaller cracking in the tailbone areas.. A bit of rust on some of the chrome rivets.. Basically, a nice looking saddle that I would not be afraid to put on any period Schwinn, or just ride it! $60

HANDLEBARS BELLERI arched touring bend -- with the nice BELLERI engraved logos on each side of the stem. A couple of small marks in the area that will be exposed without handlebar tape... very nice.. 43 cm overall width -- $20

HANDLEBARS -- BELLERI -- Road bend. Nice crisp engraving on each side of the stem.. raised portion with the engraving where there would be no tape is very clean, with a few small spots on the very bottom of the bar. 43.5 cm overall width. $20

HANDLEBARS GB (?) IL PRIMO EXTRA -- GIRO DI SICILIA These are the conventional alloy road bars with the beautiful large engraved Il Primo logo on one side and the map of Sicily and the Giro title on the other. The engraving is nice and crisp, but the S and I in "SICILIA" are almost polished out. The bars polish up nicely to the point where the bar tape would end and have a couple of visible scrape lines through the right hand engraving. THESE BARS HAVE BEEN CUT OFF ABOUT 1" FOR BAR-END SHIFTERS. 43 cm. overall width. These bars are very unusual. $60

HUBSET CAMPAGNOLO -- NO RECORD High flange, 36/36 holes, complete with skewers. Used without excessive spoke marking. The axles turn freely, but I would still repack them. A very nice set of hubs. 100/120 spacing $120

HUBSET CAMPAGNOLO TIPO High flange 36/36 holes, complete with proper skewers. Used without excessive spoke marking. The axles turn freely, but I would still repack them. A very nice set of TIPO's. 100/120 spacing $85

FRONT HUB SHIMANO high flange front hub.. looks a lot like a Nuove Record

MUDGUARDS / FENDERS "SHORTIES" A pair of NOS short fenders still in the plastic wrap for the "sporting" look on your British machine. They are white plastic with a cast-in lip on each end. No name.. Mounting brackets are installed ready to put on using the brake mounting bolts.. $25

SEAT PIN CAMPAGNOLO NR 25.0 This post could pass for new, but it has small, faint annular marks almost the full length of it... very faint, and would probably polish out quite easily. The Campag logo is very clean and crisp. The mounting brackets look new, and the bolt heads that are under the seat have been painted black (?). $45

ADJUSTABLE STEEL STEM.. MAJOR TAYLOR TYPE This treasure came out of my display case.. It has been completely rechromed and is exquisite. The projection of the stem is 6" and is a square steel tube that is set 45 degrees from the normal flat on the top and sides configuration.. The sliding portion is a steel casting. This magnificent piece could be used on any period maching from the late 30's through '60's I would imagine.. It looks better than new. $225

Thank you very much for looking... If you have questions, you can email me at nelsmiller@msn.com .
